Short-Term Running Goals:
I want run at least a sub 17 5K in the next two years.
Long-Term Running Goals:
I want to run a 15 min 5K and a 32 min 10K.
First run on my own in awhile. Mileage is approximate; took me 23:30 to run it, or about 7:50 per mile. Felt a little hard; I'll have to play this by ear as I listen to my body and figure out how fast I should do each of my runs.
Run time was 24:15, giving about 8:05 min/mi as my average. Felt a little tired from the day before.
Run time was 25:00, giving a pace of 8:20 min/mi. Definitely feeling the increase in pace now that I've started running on my own and am attempting to get more serious about training.
Run time was 25:28, giving 8:29 min/mi as my pace. I ran the route with hills (same as Monday), and I took it easy, as I'm trying to ramp up slowly in both mileage and pace.
Run time was 23:33, giving a pace of 7:51 min/mi. Didn't feel too bad, though I could definitely tell that I was pushing harder than I had in the last few runs. I did run a flat route.
